PowerGlide Cue Tip Glue (often labeled as Tip Cement) is a professional-grade, fast-drying adhesive designed specifically for attaching leather tips to snooker and pool cues. It typically comes in a 14-gram tube and provides a secure, impact-resistant bond.
How to Use PowerGlide Cue Tip Glue
Remove old tip: Scrap away the old leather and residue using a sharp knife.
Sand the ferrule: Make the top of the cue completely flat with fine sandpaper.
Sand the tip: Rough up the flat bottom of the new leather tip.
Apply the glue: Place a thin, even layer of cement on both surfaces.
Press and hold: Clamp the tip firmly onto the ferrule for a few minutes.
Trim and shape: Let it dry completely before cutting or shaping the sides.
